Achievements

• Project Serengeti a 21 billion Dollar Project to acquire the controlling stake in a large regional Telecom operator
• The increase of the shareholding of Etisalat in Zantel to 65%
• Capitalization of the stake of Etisalat in Canar Telecom (Sudan) and increase of the shareholding to 85%
• Agreement with Islamic Development Bank to finance Port Sudan Airport
• Agreement with Japanese International Aid Agency for the rehabilitation of Sudan Telephone and Postal Corporation
